In his speech celebrating the retirement of Tod SIlegy after many years of service to South Meadow students and the school's athletic programs, Principal Tim Conway stressed the consistent support the administrative team had received from him. "Tod could always be counted on to be there to help. He would be at school early and leave late. Even in his last year, his work attitude was one of someone who is trying to make a good first impression in his job, not one who is going to leave at the end of the year. Thank you, Tod, for all that you have done for SMS."
Boston Dynamics came to South Meadow School to give Mrs. Decibus' Science classes demonstrations of Spot the Robot. Spot the Robot performs many tasks that are potentially dangerous to humans using various programming techniques. Students got to experiment and learn some basic programming thus learning the importance of the sciences.
Mr. Tod Silegy, Athletic Director, held his last Athletic Award Ceremony at South Meadow School. This is an event where all students that participated in sports are recognized for their involvement and contribution to their teams.
